The Texas Sea Grant College Program, based at Texas A&M University in College Station, is in search of a new senior associate director. This person would serve as member of the Texas Sea Grant leadership team. The person would provide leadership and direction for the management and administration of strategic planning and provide implementation and evaluation across the entire organization.
The senior associate director will set the program’s long-term vision, manage its sponsored programs portfolio and oversee program facilities. Additionally, they will lead program data collection and will lead reporting for NOAA’s programmatic evaluations. The senior associate director will manage the extension program, its outreach projects and secure its funding. Furthermore, they will be responsible for building professional relationships with public agencies, private industry and non-governmental organizations.
