TCEQ seeks Natural Resources Specialist

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is seeking a Natural Resources Specialist II for the Planning & Implementation Section/Water Quality Planning Division at its Houston office.

Among other duties, the Specialist will assist in the coordination and implementation of the Ensure Safe Human and Aquatic Life Use Action Plans; inform Science-Based Decision Making Action Plans and the Galveston Bay Regional Monitoring Plan of the Galveston Bay Plan, 2nd Edition of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality; and provide support in the development and implementation of initiatives with bay stakeholders to protect and restore water and sediment quality.

TCEQ seeks Galveston Bay Estuary Program Supervisor

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is seeking a Program Supervisor for the Galveston Bay Estuary Program (GBEP). The Supervisor will manage, direct, and supervise the administrative and technical activities of the GBEP, including the development and execution of an annual grant work plan and projects to implement the Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan (CCMP) for the TCEQ. The Supervisor will builds partnerships and facilitates coordination and implementation of the Galveston Bay Plan, including the facilitation of funding mechanisms involving federal and state agencies, stakeholder organizations, and the public.
