This program will be videotaped for their use on social media and possibly the TPWD PBS television show.

Learn how to use a stand-up paddle board with an experienced ranger as your guide. No experience necessary.

This program is for adults only (ages 13 and over) who are capable of mild to moderate exercise. You must rent the paddle board from the park store for one hour to attend this program. Total cost per person will be $10 including tax. The program requires a reservation and will meet at the boat rental launch area near the activity center and the playground. You must contact Ranger Joel to participate in this event. Special instructions on what time to rent the paddle board will be given at the time you make your reservation.

Each boat has a 300 lb. weight limit. Reservations required, contact Ranger Joel at 936.365.2201 x2060 or [email protected] Your reservation is not valid until they reply to your email or return your call to confirm the reservation and to discuss special instructions for this program.

Arrive 15 minutes before launch time. They will launch from the activity center day use loop where the park boat rentals launch from.

Regular park admission fees of $5 per adult ages 13 and up apply.

SUP, paddles, and life jackets are provided by Lake Livingston State Park.

This event is subject to cancellation due to thunderstorms, cold weather, or high winds (or for any other safety issues).
