Hurricane Harvey devastated large areas of Texas in August 2017 and is estimated to be the most expensive natural disaster in US history. Vulnerable groups are at higher risk for flood exposure and adverse social determinants of health (SDH), both of which can negatively influence health outcomes. This event brings together regional, state, and national leaders to explore the intersection of natural disasters, SDH, and child health. For more information, and to register, visit Eventbrite.
