Houston Chapter – Native Prairies Association of Texas (HNPAT)
January Meeting, open to all

Beth Clark, registered landscape architect and principal at Clark Condon Associates, will present the design and development of meadows and native plant landscapes for three large scale commercial development projects in the Houston area.  Along with showing images and plant lists for these projects, she will also differentiate that they are not making prairies, as they are not using the larger grasses and forbs; they are calling these projects Meadows.  At one location, they are doing the medians and rights of way for the overall land development project and some of the parks and open space areas.  Beth is LEED certified and has a special interest in designing with native and perennial plants.
