The City of Houston considered the following agenda items at the September 19, 2018, Houston City Council Meeting. The agenda items include multiple appropriations for water and sewer system improvements, the approval of a grant application for improvements at Edgewood Park, the appropriation of funds for erosion control and construction improvements at Little Thicket Park, and the addition of land to two Harris County Municipal Utility Districts and two Harris County Water Control and Improvement Districts.
The City considered the following agenda items at the September 5, 2018, Houston Council Meeting. The agenda items include wastewater collection and treatment, storm water conveyance, flood control studies, storm water drainage repair, and funding for wastewater treatment. The City also considered an agreement of co-ownership with Harris County for a tract of land that will connect the County’s Yolanda Black Navarro Buffalo Bend Nature Park with the City’s Hidalgo Park.
The City will consider the following agenda items at the July 24, 2018, Houston Council Meeting. The agenda items include water line, waste water, and waste hauling matters. The City will also be considering a contract to develop a long-range municipal solid waste management plan; the plan shall include strategies and methodologies for waste reduction, recycling and reuse.
