CEC Welcomes Maura McCampbell as Policy & Communications Intern
Maura is a rising junior at Allegheny college in Meadville, PA, majoring in environmental studies and minoring in philosophy. She is also a native Houstonian who is excited to return to the city for the summer.
At Allegheny, Maura is an active member of Students for Environmental Action, a club that works to increase opportunities for environmental education and advocacy both on campus and in the Meadville community. She also volunteers as a Green Tour guide, where she leads prospective students and their families on campus tours that highlight Allegheny’s sustainability features. Maura works as a Resident Adviser on campus, and serves as president of Allegheny’s Sustained Dialogue club, which aims to transform relationships and create informed community change through dialogue. She looks forwards to seeing how she can use these skills to help CEC in all of its needed capacities.
