This is a full-time position. The Gardener will performer general gardening maintenance, supervise volunteers and interns, and participate in garden-wide events, educational programs, and research projects. Must have ability to interact with public, assist in monitoring public behavior, and perform duties in a manner consider with a public garden serving multi-generational and multi-cultural families. Candidates must be comfortable with application of pesticides, biological controls and fertilizers. Requirements include but are not limited to an Associates degree in landscaping, 2 years equivalent work experience, and knowledge of general horticultural principles.
